Here we sit at my parent's home in Ohio. What a long couple weeks of traveling across the country! Almost two weeks ago, we left California and began a cross country trip with the kids. The kids were extraordinarily good, and the drive across the country was fairly uneventful. (which is a good thing!) We made stops in Lake Tahoe (and renewed our wedding vows with friends!), Reno, Salt Lake City, Rawlins, WY, Lincoln, NE, Des Moines, IA, concluding with a longer stay in Bryan's hometown of Sycamore, Illinois. Then, we made the final trek here to Salem, Ohio to visit my family. Needless to say, we are tired and recovering. We have a flight scheduled to New York on the 18th, and we are off to Paris on the 19th.
Since my mind is tired now, I will let the pictures tell the story of our adventure across the U.S. We would love as much prayer as possible for these especially exciting (yet emotionally exhausting) times. We're looking forward to the adventure ahead!
